House Rules

  • We aim to provide all our guests with a safe, relaxing stay whilst maintaining the quality and standards they expect. Respecting our community, we ask all guests to respect the following house rules:
  • Only booked guests should enter and use our accommodation. Please inform us before your arrival if your guest number has changed. Written permission from us is needed for anyone other than booked guests to enter and use the accommodation.
  • Check-in is between 17.00 and 22.00 by means of self check-in with a lock box. Please obtain written permission from us in advance for check-in at any other times.
  • Check-out is at 10.00 promptly. Please obtain written permission from us in advance for check-out at any other times. We reserve the right to charge for lost keys and if your accommodation is left un-secured as a result you may be held responsible for any consequences that may occur.
  • Security Deposit of £250 is required for all reservations.

  • Parties and other such events are not allowed at any time. If a complaint from a neighbour is received the police may be called and this may put your booking and/or deposit in jeopardy.
  • Noise: This is a residential area. We ask that you respect our neighbours’ privacy. Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.
  • Pets: We are happy to accept a maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs at our property. Dogs should not be left alone in the property at any time, as being in a strange new place can cause some dogs to be anxious or lonely. In the unlikely event of your dog/s causing any damage, this will be taken from your damage deposit.
  • Safety and Security: Please ensure all non-essential electrics are turned off before going out and that all doors and windows are securely closed and locked. Any damage resulting from not following these rules will be charged.
  • Electric Car Charging: please do not charge your car from the domestic sockets. Doing so invalidates our insurance and our electrical system is not designed for this. You will be held responsible for any consequences that may occur. Please look at https://www.zap-map.com/ for local charging points.
  • No candles, incense, or naked flames to be used anywhere at any time. No glitter or confetti to be used.
  • Damages: Please inform us immediately, however small the issue, as the property is checked prior to your arrival. Failure to do so will result in a definite claim on the security deposit. We appreciate honesty and take this into consideration when dealing with these situations.
  • Bikes: No bikes to be brought inside any of our accommodation. Please bring a lock and lock your bike up outside.
  • No Smoking or Vaping anywhere inside or outside the accommodation
  • Keys: Lost keys will be charged for. Please refer to your guest guide for collection and return. If your accommodation is left un-secure you may be held responsible for the consequences that may occur.
  • Travel Insurance: We urge you to take out travel insurance. For instance, it can cover you if you have to cancel or cut short your holiday because of illness or injury.

Please share these with the other people on your booking if applicable.

Thank you in advance for your consideration from everyone at Mill House Bungalow.
