Hello and welcome to Mill House Bungalow!

As you’ll soon see when you arrive, Mill House Bungalow is a stones’ throw away from our 180-year old, six-storey,Grade II listed windmill (built circa 1849 on the site of an older post mill dating back to before 1797) and next to the remains of an orchard.

The current bungalow was built in 1989 following damage to an old, wooden bungalow on the same site which suffered extensive damage in 1987 (Half of the roof blew off. I know as I was inside it!). The storm also blew down several apple and pear trees in the orchard beside it.
